after the application for additional place of business is filled but the application approval is pending,
can we start business transactions in between. period or we will have to wait till the application is approved

You can start your business transactions. The period for applying for GST registration is within 30 days of becoming liable to obtain GST registration. As you have applied from your end and formalities have been completed for you and its now departments turn to act and comply.

Yes, you can start your business as you done your job by intimating to department.

Yes you can continue business from date of filing of Application in Form Reg-14 , but it stand Amended only when you got the Order in form REG-15
