Resp sir,

Depreciation rate of Some of Energy saving Plant and Machinery (Induction Furnace) is @ 80% , If we utilise benefit of additional Depreciation @ 20% than this means we have taken 100% depreciation. Is it right ? Please reply. Suresh

presently rate of depreciation is restricted to 40% so if you has asset put to use for more than 180days than you can take depreciation @ 40% + additional 20% and if put to use is less than 180 days or more than @ 20%+10%
