A dealer import goods from outside india and sale those in india. Dealer is registered under excise department and also issue modvat invoice to buyer, but he add his trade mark name in/before item name mentioned on bill of entry.
I want to know that, is there any violation of rule as per custome & excise act?
own trade name can be used by manufacturer / producer of the taxable item, for trade purpose u have to pass the goods "as it has been imported" basis,
in commercial invoices u can print your brand, not in Central excise dealer invoice.
