Addition of offices under CST

Can you let me know the process of adding additonal place of business under CST Act.

AMENDMENT OF CERTIFICATE - The certificate can be amended e.g. change of name, change of business, change of class of goods in which he carries business, change/addition of place of business, warehouses etc. This amendment can be made on application from dealer or by sales tax authorities themselves after giving notice to dealer

You can ammend your certificate for additional place of business within the state only. It will apply for Local Sales Tax and Central Sales Tax. If you have branch in different state then you have to register with the local Tax department in that state.
