Is it mandatory to give details of all bank accounts ( other the bank account which is pre validated to receive refunds) in ITR 1 ?
If yes, how can I add the details of new bank account opened in F.Y 2018-19.

mandatory to give all bank details in ITR
good clarification and

Hi, Can anyone please confirm if we need to provide the Fixed Deposit Account details as well in this part of the ITR? I cannot see any IFSC code in the FD statement for the FD accounts.

1. Income tax has asked only for all the bank account details including the one inactive for not more than 24 months.
2. It would be obvious for the IT department to ask for all your bank account details including deposits account to have a complete track of your income and other transactions. IFSC code for the respective bank will be available on google even if the same is not mentioned in FD receipt.
3. If the FD interest does not have an account separate as such then the same need not be mentioned. But if the deposit account contains a separate account number then it should be mentioned in ITR.
Please correct me if the above solution has an alternative view.
