Hello Members,

As i had cleared CS Exam So now i have to apply for ACS Number.

As i am also doing CA so i didnt did any articleship for CS.

So help me what is the procudure for Obtaining ACS Membership No.

I had Done Computer Trainning & SIP & EDP .

Please reply.

I have the exact same query. I have seen an article with some modified regulations. Also have completed computer training and SIP. If i can get a clear answer to this would be great. Btw bhavik when is your ca final attempt? And is it your 1st? Best of luck.. im giving my 2nd in may

You need to complete MSOP and training to be completed in order to be eligible for becoming ACS.

Hii tushar, Thanks for your reply. This is following the new pattern right? And since completion of articleship i have worked for another 9 months in TCS. Will this be counted. Thanks

Sorry, it wont be counted as u need to work under pcs as per thier scheme of training

The link given by u does not state whether ru period of working with tcs shall be counted or not whereas link which i gave already covers wat link u have given and additionally my link says of where u can do your training pls check it minutely for your benefit.

Hi Bhavik and Vivek,

you must have complete one year training after CS Prof passed (as per modified training structure), then after completion of one year training you must complete MSOP. then after you would have eligible to apply for associate membership.

the same problem is with me. I hv cleared CS proff in last jun attempt. But unfortunately I could not cleared one year training so not having associate membership. I thought that I would apply for exemption, but problem is there 3 year experience must be in secretarial department in a compnay, etc. If anyone can help me, then please.

However I have taken Licentiate membership no, but nothing benefit of this as no attestation authority.

Vivek, if anyone cleared CS proff, then he can apply for Licentiate no. in this you are registered in member of Institute, but attestation authority will have not to you.

To get this, please read below

Eligible students who have complied with the following requirements may apply for enrolment as a Licentiate:-

Requirements

(i) A person who has completed the Final examination of the Institute may, within six months from the date of declaration of results in which he has passed the Final examination can apply for enrollment as a licentiate.

(ii) An application for enrolment as a Licentiate is to be made in approved form ST-8 alongwith annual subscripttion of Rs. 1000/-

(iii) Copies of date of birth and graduation certificate or PROFESSIONAL PASS certificate duly attested by any member of the Council/Regional Council/Satellite Chapter of the Institute or any Officer of the Institute.

(iv) A licentiate shall not ordinarily be allowed to renew his enrolment for more than five years after passing the Final Examination.
