acknowledgement of itr IV

i hv filled itr IV but in acknowledgement i got itr V.

is it right or mistack by it deptt.? pl hep me.

You must have efilied your ITR - 4 without digital signature whose acknowledgement is received as ITR - V and is to signed by the assessee and to be sent to Bangalore via post or speed post.

i hv send it bangalore but i got itr V as acknowledgement of itr IV via mail.so is it right acknowledgement as receipt of itr IV .

You must have got ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT OF ITR-V and below that Form No. which has been electronically transmitted must have also been mentioned. kindly check.

ya on itrV it is written that (form no which has been electronically transmitted-ITR IV).

so sir i want to know that, is ITR V is receipt of acknowledgement of ITR IV?

ITR - V is acknowledgement received when return is eFiled without digital signature whose acknowledgement is received as ITR - V and is to signed by the assessee and to be sent to Bangalore via post. It is applicable to all ITR forms except ITR - 7 which cannot be efilied.
