CONVEYANCE EXPENSES OR TRANSFER EXPENSES

Dear Sir,

Cn it be treated as Transportation charges, as the employee is completely shifted to the other state, with his family, with all his house hold items...

Transportation charges are usually incurred while transporting Goods. Its not relevant for employee travel charges.

In your case, you may either charge it to 'Staff Welfare Expenses' or 'Travelling Expense'.

If the amount is significant, you can account it under a separate head. eg. 'Employee Transfer Charges', etc.
