Accounting treatment

Dear Sir,

Our Company is planing to give extara one month salary (due to Hudhud cyclone) to all employees in Vizag.

so please adivce

1) is that part of Salary expenses for Company?

2) is that part of total income of employee?

3) where shall we book entry for this whether salary or any other employee benfit (company)?
