Accounting standards

I advise you to follow the compilations of suggested answers, RTPs and other material given in our study material problems for Accounting Standards..Those are sufficient, and if you want more, you can refer DS Rawat for AS. Regarding what type of questions they ask in exams, institute gives both practical-based and theory based questions..so one should be perfect in theory to do practical situation problems..Also attaching herewith two of the files, which were earlier posted in caclub, for your reference..and some model test papers are available in primeacademy.com for your reference..do all these model papers in primeacademy to gain more knowledge..

i think theory questions are asked from AS.

3RD FILE

we have to study following AS for ACCOUNTING-GROUP1

AS-1,2,6,7,9,10.

and AS-3,13 and14 also

go through the Saravana Prasanth book ( the questions n answers) to get an introduction with AS..after that u can go into detail more from some other books..it's just to get familiarised with this portion..

normally Questions asked from AS are of not more than 5 marks.... and most of the time its of theory.............

You follow only AS-1,2,3,6,7,9,10,13 and 14 for IPCC 1st group from the above files. Rest of the standards you can ignore if you r nt preparing for 2nd group.

In previous IPCC exam of accounting, 24 marks came from AS. Check the papers. Atleast 20 marks will come.

no specific distibution is mention bt advance carry 3marks of 3 ques each but these is not compulsary

DS RAWAT is good Book for AS.

D.S.Rawat is the best book for PCC and also for Final...it has good theory part as well as many solved practical problems of past exams..but u are also advised not to ignore ICAI Study Materials..

please tell me how many AS will be asked for PCC. and is there any changes in AS
