If the Schools has installed an operating software system which track and keep records of student wise Fees collection
then, it is also required to Record student wise fees in Accounting software (Tally ERP) in this case ?
what if it only book daily Collection entry in the tally as per cash accounting system.

It could be done anyways a company wants. There is no law as to which software should hold the financial data. The important thing is, financial data should be available to an auditor to verify transactions with evidences fo transactions.
