Accounting for amalgamation
The appointed date for amalgamation is 01.04.2015. The High Court order is received on 30.11.2016.
For the financial statement of 31.03.2016 need to be prepared for merged entity or standalone for transferor and transferee.
Same way will the tax returns be filled merged or standalone?

Needs to have two financial statements.
IT returns needs to be filed for the transferor company and transferee company separately.
