This is NARESHBILLAKANTI,My doubt about VAT Computation in case ,if there is central excise what is the assesable value for vat computation whether the value including excise duty or excluding excise duty

Priciple amt+excise duty+add surchage=taxable vale of vat,because vat is aplicable on principle value and excise duty
VAT is on the
Purchases+ED(BED+ED+SED)+any other charges (freight, insurance,etc..)
