my net takehome salary is 36512 permonth & gross salary is 41506 permonth i invest Rs 25000 in LIC ,Rs 25000 in kotak life insurances & in PPf Rs 10000 than how much amt invest to tax saveing in which section

Dear Uttara,
You can still invest upto Rs 40k in investments allowed u/s 80C.Apart from that u can also take mediclaim policy for an annual premium of upto 15k(20k in case of senior citizens)

Dear,Invest (40,000-PF of Co-if any) Beside in 80D Rs 15000/- is maximum. U can also go for housing loan in future.

For all those discussing here Tax planning is not some thing like financial planning. Only for financial planning one needs to know the income flow (in or out) But for Tax planning one need to know the Income Tax act altogether and at the most one can avail of the benefits available under the said act. If one does something else, it is not tax planning, but it can be tax evation. The line of margin between tax planning and tax evation is very thin. If one wishes to work as a Tax consultant, then he/she should know the taxation provisions thoroughly to advise the client to optimise the available benefits under Taxation act. The consultant cannot advice for what is not in taxation act nor can he advice for evading the compliance provisions.
