plz provide me defination of salary , wages & remunaration with act & section.
may i keep a production manager whose salary is 40000/-pm in wages column.
some friends r say whose r direct related to production deptt. they get wages.
but my think any manager get salary / remunaration but not wages.

Pl. see sec. 17(1) . In ur case wages is forming the part of salary

for more clearence go through income tax books provided by board of studies.
