i have hotel with all services such as 1.restaurant
2.take away
3.home delivery
4.banquet halls
as per new notification of gst council i opted for concessional rate of 5%with no ITC for all ...
but one of my friend said that for banquet halls it is 18 % , if it is 18% can i claim input tax credit on purchases for banquet hall along with by applying concessional rate 5 % for above items 1,2,3.

yes, you can claim input only for banquet service not restaurant service.... taxable rate for banquet will be 18%.

Refer notif. 20/2019-Central Tax (rates) - from 1st October 2019, where the accommodation tariff is < Rs. 7,500 per day, then the banquet activity also would fall under 5% without ITC.
