For learning theory parts there is no other way except Reading, Revising and Re~Revising. Based on the opinion of my classmates, a lot of CA students find IT&SM the hardest nut to crack. So unless you have genuine knack for the subject, going through this subject on a daily basis is preferred. Auditing can be a lot more interesting, if the students while reading the chapters, try to view the concepts in context to real world in a step by step process. If you start the articleship now, though the time available for studies will reduce to a great extent, the exposure in the real life practicing environment will help a lot to strengthen the foundations of accounting and auditing. But considering the fact that exams are only 2.5 months away, if I were you, I would start the articleship from June.
