hey guys in pcc nov 2010 exam we have to write auditing standard as AAS or SA
as both have different nos. so which one to study????? i know content r same only nos r differ, but still which one to study

mentioning both will be more suitable.....i think even if we mention either of the 2 ,it will work..

but if i study SA and if they ask AAS or reverse then wat???
as in last nov(2009) they bring circular mentioning that AAS change to SA, but then also they asked AAS in exam.

i dont think ICAI will accept AAS as the announcement regarding applicability of auditing standards they stated them as SA,SRE,SAE,etc. So its better to answer according to new nomenclature. Also many of the new standards applicable to our attempt doesnt have corresponding AAS no. to them. But if ICAI decides to screw us then............

as per the may 2010 attempt the institute ask abt AAS but this it feels dat they go wid SA...........
so better to prepare both.....

Yup learn both... you can get secure your marks by learning 80-90 additional words......
(perhaps without those 80-90 words, learning hundreds of sentences will be worthless in the examiner's view) Just studying the names can be done in 15 mins.. so dont ponder, GO!
