Hi,
I recently came to know that AAS have been changed and sub-divided into SAQ, SQC etc. Can anyone tell that for exam purpose of Nov-09 and May-10 we should follow and go through earlier AAS or the revised one

The board of studies has clarified that it is SA now...SA was implemented from 1.4.2008 itself...it is better to remember both...

Hai,
Mine is also the same problem that whether it is SA or AAS for Nov 09. But to my know, SA were implemented since 01.04.2009 i.e., for the audits commencing from that date. Even in May 09 journal also, few new SA were published.
So i dont think that these are applicable for June 09. Also before talking about Nov 09, i want to ensure that all SAs are came into force overiding the old AAS. Could any body of u tell about that?

NO go for the new changes AAS
As Institute is quite clear in concepts. As mostly we have seen that in case of change in any act or Study related part Institute implements new changed act for the exam which comes after 6 to 8 months later then from the change.
In this case For Nov2009 exam it will be almost more than 10 months form the change of AAS so only new AAS wil be applicable.I am sure Institute will soon notify the same.
