The budget has nothing to do with aam admi. I would have been happy, if the tax concession was not given in this budget and some strong measures were taken by government to crub inflation.

You cannot inflate the economy by increasing duties or prices and provide such candies for salaried people.

In a way, govt is looking to protect middle-class vote bank and from the back door taking away the benefits. Well, people should realise that this is a poor budget coz right now our economy needs to reduce inflationary pressure, which Mr. FM ignored.

The appropriation of funds is for sure looks like its for AAM ADMI

But the thing is will it reach? the desired programmes..

We ll hope that atleast 50% is spent for the purpose....

For rich & middle class, the cost benefit analysis statement goes like this

Savings in Direc tax 10000
Less : Increased cost of living due to increase in Indirect tax 20000
Benefit -10000
(Increased cost of living cannot be less than savings in direct tax.)

But for the Poor, cost benefit analysis statement goes like this

Savings in Direc tax 0
Less : Increased cost of living due to increase in Indirect tax 20000
Benefit -20000

Poor dont have direct tax and hence savings is nil

Conclusion : The budget has hit both middle class & poor but

done more damage to poor.

yes i agree with those who say its not a aam aadmi budget, as it will help to higher middle class people only whose income ranges from 6 to 8 lacs as he can now save near about 4K per month but wat abt the people earning from 1.6 to 3 lacs, no changes for them, and wat abt the salaried person, i think they sould hav implemented the standard deduction on salary income again u/s 16.

I am also agree with deepak that we the rise in petrol price the price of ration bill will incease. and the impact of the same can see on 47% people of india which are under poverty line whose monthly income is maximum rs. 1lac in a year. What is the benefit for them of incease & decease of income slab. They just noe that they have to pay more from their pocket. I think government want to put off the cloth of aam admi and want to see them in nude condition.

Its Very Very Bad for our Government......................

CURRENT INCUMBENT ONLY TALK ABOUT  "AAM AADMI" BUT THEY HAVE NO ANY OTHER  RELATION WITH "AAM AADMI" EXCEPT TO  TAKE THEIR VOTES AND CALL THEM  "CATTLE CLASS".
