If individual proceeded for study abroad 25 August 2017 and continue till date. For return filing is he Non Resident? Which ITR to choose? I or II (individual had salary from pvt job from 01 April till 31 July and interest income from saving bank account

No, ....... if he stayed in India, for 365 days or more in previous years (immediately preceeding the year)
