hey pls help me..I am CA PE-II student residing in chennai...I cleared Group I in Nov 09 exam ..I planned to go for crash course for costing & income tax in Grukripa..It is a very famous inst. for costing & IT...every year the conduct crash course in feb for MAY exam..but this year on contacting them they replied that this year the will not be conducting crash course because of non-availibility of time for faculties due to audit work...what to do now...all my friends went to Gurukripa and cleared ..pls help...I was dependent on this institute......i am totally shocked,sad & depressed.....

Why u r becoming handicapped. ALl over India all the students who cleared pe2 was not necessaroly Gurukripa Students. Belive in u. There are students who had joined Gurukripa and failed. So it depends upon u and not on the Coaching institute.

Mr.Surendar, am also from Chennai.. i didnt attend any class in Gurukripa but i have cleared ma pcc exams recently. i will give you some real time tips which helped in my case. In case of costing and Fm, for thoery read the questions asked in past exams questions alone and in case of sums, work out the sums given in Gurukripa material and also mainly give more preferance to the past exam questions for sums also cos sometimes certain twisted questions are asked from past exam questions and so be prepared for the same. In case of Income tax, use T.N.Manoharan's book and first study all the recent amendments and then finish first CST and then for Income Tax, first read the provisions from the material and work out all the sums given at the end of every chapter. It will be sufficient..And for Info tech, yes refer compilations alone..Good luck for your preprations

ya, it is not that all students who go to gurukripa pass rite. You can still refer there material. its quite good. having passed one group you have to take confidence and write the exams. Everyone is different and do not ever compare yourself with any other person or your friends.
Sometimes it can be misleading to follow what other people do. Follow your strengths and focus on your weaknesses you will certainly pass.

Hi surendran, i also belong to TN, i did nt go for classes at gurukripa for my PE II, i prepared wit their book for costing and IT, i did cleared 3yrs b4. For passing it is nt necessary tat, u shld undergo class there, u undergo self study, u can clear. All the best.

hey give total focus on fm (40 mks). Its pretty much possible to secure atleast say 25 mks in financial management....chaptrs like leverage, cost of capital, cash flow , fund flow will hardly take 4 days ...capitall budgeting(2 days) ratios(2 days) and therory (2 days) so within 10 days u will atleast be confident of serucing good mks in fm.......regarding costing chapters like joint products, abc, operating cost , matrl and labour can be completed in 6-7 days...overheads and process needs 2 day each to fininsh so costing can be done in say 10-15 days.....so give full feburary to casting and fm

do cst daily means daily u can secure full out of rulll very easily in cst.......chapters like residential status, house property, income form other sources, set off and carry forward of losses, requires hardlay 4 hrs(each to complete) do these with costing and fm.......now take salary (1 full day) business and profession(2 days) and capital gains(2 days) do theroy that is deduction, assessment procedure( 1 day each)...............this covers ur tax...........make sure u complete all this by 15 march...........then start information technology do 1 chapter daily so say by march 31 u will complete fulll study of grop2 ....now in april do as much revision as possible..........do fm and cst daily............solve numeric and flowchart daily.....ti think its more than suffiecint to secure 150 mks...............and just start action form nowonwards

Are you CA Student? CA Students should develop the habit of learning things on their own. CA students are all over the world and Gurukripa is available only in chennai. Probably 200 and odd sudents per batch. Try to collect statistics and their pass percentage will be around 10 -15 percentage. ( I am not sure. Its my assumption). In my office except me everyone went to Gurukripa for costing. I studied on my own. I have cleared PCC and they are yet to. It is not Gurukripa which will make to pass CA exam. You need to work hard.

Nowadays institute has started good coaching classes in the western suburbs of Mumbai- You can come to mumbai for a short period and attend the same- but is really not so important, Further in mumbai sukhsagor classes also having some crash course- plan yourself for a short visit on mumbai and go for it...

Its completely IDIOTIC that people of southern region believe this. they have a mindset that when we study in Grukripa
we pass. has everyone who went to those classes passed????? This an professional course and y do u except someone to teach you??? have faith and confidence in yourself... plan your studies.. and get through...

Dear Deva, pls try to be a little more informed and diplomatic next time....

Sanyal go for ICAI crash batch yaar.... Its no doubt padhuka's is good book, but even i could pass without their classes... Its all mind games as the others' pointed out..

24% understanding and clarity for which u could attend class, 75% self study and practice, and 1% god's blessing and lady luck by your side is what u need to pass.....

Your friends have passed cos of their hardwork and approach to exams, and not cos of gurukripa classes.. Ask your friends how they passed, and invariably they will say "god was there to give me what i earned, dont ask how...." and here u are thinking its cos of gurukripa!

Dear sunder,

I think you can clear it even if not attending the class in gurukripa.Try own your own.Understand the most relevant chapters and make a trend work very hard on it...Success will come from the excellence and excellance will come from your hard work and practise.There is a good teacher inside you, Dont be disappoint because of not got the cocahing class in Gurukripa. There is a theroy that the necessity is the mother of invention. If you feel that clearing the CA is a necessity for you, then you will automaticaly find some solution for over coming the situation...In short , there is a will , then , the way will come automatically. I had not taken any coaching for PE 2 due to lack of fund and compelled to do own my own, failed many time for many reason, but after each failure , i learned a lesson , many way to fail.But that lesson helped me to clear in the later point of time in the final stages.But you cant be a failure, if you going the studies in the right way by adopting the concept building that is the secret mantra for success of Cost accounting and FM for PE 2 stage. you need to adopt some techneque , solving the problem by understanding the concepts and without depending on the solution. this will refind your thinking process and ultimatly leads to a good concept builder and if there is any surprise concept oriented question which is set in the CA exam, you can crak the same with out much difficulties
