A Career in ERP

Hi friends,

Can you please enlighten us how and where to start a career in ERP/SAP/ Info Systems as a newly qualified CA.

1.Which are the comapnies' that we should look to join.

2.What should be the growth path of a person starting his/her career as a CA with nil experience in this line.

Please share your views and enlighten us as there are no other forums for discussing this issue and a lot of people keep asking me this question including myself.

I would also request our admin, to please throw some light on the topic too.

Thanks Alderine, but if i want to join in as a fresher then what do i need to do, without joining any course. As course on ERP can be done later on as well when i gain some experience.

Hi.. i am recently qualified CWA . Currently working in a manufacturing industry as cost accountant. I got an offer from an leading software company as in to ERP Implementation. My profile is about to give functional knowledge in accounts & Finance to techical side and I need to travel client place and implement the same.

My query is, as a finance professional, this field suits to my career growth? After 5 or 10 yrs down the line can I be able to join back in operation areas like accounts, costing & Finance.

Please advice me . I am in deep confusion to accept the offer or not.

Hi.., I am recently joined as a Accounts Executive in soft ware company. What type of procedures(PF,PT,ESI,TDS and STPI or SEZ registration) i will follow in ERP tally based accounting and which type of transactions are face in the software company.

I need some suggetions from urs.
