Deduction under section 80TTA is available in respect of any income (Interest on SB A/c) by the way of deposits in a saving account with :
1. Bank
2. Co-Op society engage in banking business
3. Post Office

So it means that interest received from treasury savings bank is not eligible for deduction u/s 80TTA. Thanks.
