since its not included in the specific list eligible for 100% deduction.

Exemption to Bhart Ke Veer is U/s 80G(5)(vi), I think the exemption is upto 50% with qualifying amount

1. Bharat Ke Veer was granted registration u/s 80G(5)(vi).
2. 50% deductions are allowed only to four types of funds and nowhere the above funds fall under that category.
3. However, any funds which are set up under the CG u/s 80G(5), would qualify for only 50% of the donations subject to 10% of the Adjusted Total Income.
4. In 100% deductions category without any qualifying limit for National Defence fund set up by the CG is also there.
5. From my sense, this is a fund set up under the CG for the welfare of Defence personnel. Unnecessary conditions or burdens on donations would not basically be imposed. And no clear explanation with respect to whether donations made would be eligible for 100% or 50%.
6. Considering the above facts, it should be eligible for 100% deduction. But for the matter of clarity if have made huge donations I would recommend you to approach a CA.
Please correct me if the above interpretation has an alternative view.
