Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether an 80G certificate alone is sufficient for claiming tax deductions on donations. The consensus is that the 80G certificate is indeed enough proof for individual donors to claim deductions under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Form 10BE is generally not required for this purpose.
