In the country, among 50 top rankers based on the total marks secured, six are from Surat centre. Bhavesh Gupta with 553 out of 800 marks stood eighth all over India, while Rajesh Malu with 519 marks got 22nd rank. Others among top 50 from Surat centre are Pinkesh Jain ((503), Nisha Agarwal (503), Chayan Agarwala (499) and Mamta Sekhani (494). Nine students from Surat secured highest marks in various subjects, too.
Results of common proficiency text (CPT) for admission to ICAI were also declared on Friday. Out of 1,796 students who appeared, 615 have been declared successful, according to results on the official website of the ICAI.
