80-g deduction

hiii friends

i have one case in which the amount for 80-g is deducted from the salary itself and the person doesnot have any receipt of it

so please help me to show it in the income tax return as it requires pan, name and address so please help soon

he told me the deduction was done for uttarkhand and it is under some p m relief fund

please guide me in this matter

but the person has just given me form 16 and in it deduction u/s. 80g(02) is their and and when i asked him about it he just told me it is deducted as p m relief fund for uttarkhand

now what i should do and what will be the amount of deduction available

please help me as i have to file the return as soon as possible

any donation to p m relief is 100% allowed as deduction under 80g..... however first you need to make sure that amt. was donated to such fund. mere saying by person is not enough, check in salary slip that it was donated in what fund and what amt.

i know that he would be your client.. it is just like a precautionary step to remind that you should cross check the correctness. i didnt mean that you did not check this, i was only remining of this.
