hi,

my uncle purchase SBI Life insurance in last of Rs 99,000/- on dated 31st march 2015 & his next ECS payment due on 31st march 2016 but do to SBI Bank falut ECS was debited to his account on 6th april. 

SBI Manger given receipt of challal date 31st march 2016

now my question is can we claim 80C deduction in FY 2015-16??

I think u can claim because receipt date is 31st so u can

you should claim as per the period mentioned in the premium certificate

addition to my above comment, i think you can create a provision for that but get confirm before preparing statements
