Can a dance teacher opt for 44ADA? Does he come under the definition of "professional" ?
Does not come under Specified professions as per section 44AA, so technically section 44ADA cannot apply. Though clarification is due from the department for applicability of section 44ADA for non-specified professions, I don't see any difficulty to file return under presumptive scheme declaring profit margin 50% or more for all such professionals.
