If a person has specified business i.e 35AD but he doesn't use investment linked tax deduction then can the losses from specified business be set off against normal business income .

If a person incurs a loss in the specified business under Section 35AD and does not claim investment-linked deduction, the loss can be set off against normal business income in the same financial year or carried forward for future set-off.
