hi all,
even i am 32+ and just cleared my ipcc in this may'12. now i hav to go 3 yrs articleship n then final.
By that time i wl be 35.
But, i don't think there is any age constraint for CA jobs.
For all those who are feeling depressed for starting CA late:
Just don't think much...do ur bit n think its late than never!!!!!!!
Please don't copmpare yourself with others...v all have our own reasons for starting CA late.
But that guilt will make us to do even better in our exams..
This is my personal experience...since i started late so i studied (managing my job also) without wasting time n had put more efforts than other students.
The resulti is i cleared my CPT and IPCC ( both groups) in first attempt only.
Not only that ..with practical experience in hand, i could also understand the concepts and terms in a better way..
Another positive point is I feel much younger and in trend when i interact with younger students.
So, guys have a positive attitude and keep going..
I again repeat...Its better late than never

Thanks a lot Sreesha ... I really feel encouraged and quite relaxed as well
I perceived that my work experience will give a leverage or it will be a value addition ... but I am told that as my work experience is in IT, therefore, it will be of not much help. And another problem that I face is as there is a gap after I cleared CA PE II, firms are not ready to accept my candidature.
But, anyways, your post really helped ... keep writing ... Best Of Luck
