As You are already aware the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as a universal financial reporting language is gaining momentum across the globe. Several countries are in the process of implementation of IFRS and converge their national GAAP to IFRS. The Ministry of Corporate affairs , Government of India too has announced the roadmap for IFRS implementation for Indian companies.
To facilitate this very Historic transition to one Global Accounting Standard, we are pleased to announce a 3 day workshop on IFRS at Hotel Taj Ambassador, Sujan Singh Park, New Delhi on 8th,9th,10th, July 2010.
Objective:
This three day workshop aims at offering a comprehensive information on first time adoption of IFRS & its ongoing impact on the presentation of financial statements. The objective of the program is to focus on understanding of various specifications of IFRS as well as compare them with Indian GAAP & to equip the participants with knowledge & orientation to implement IFRS in their respective organizations. Even for those organizations who are to implement IFRS later, the program intends to provide thorough knowledge so that they can prepare and orient themselves for IFRS implementation.

The program will be conducted by S.C.Sekhar , BCOM( HONS) FCA who has an experience of more than 24 years in teaching ,training, coaching & mentoring budding & qualified Chartered Accountants. In the corporate world, he has worked for various companies like Fraser & Ross, Price Water House & Indian Oil Corporation. Additionally, he has rendered professional services to organizations like ONGC, Indian Oil Corporation, Oil India Ltd, ET&T etc. His unique style of imparting training stems from his diverse experience as an Entrepreneur, Executive, Consultant, Trainer & a Coach. As a trainer, he blends practical with theory offering concepts on a wide variety of subjects and topics to the trainees in a very simple & easy manner.
