you had to destroy the wrong pan card, despite of having the corrected pan card, you used wrong date of birth in opening new bank account?

ask the bank to rectify their database with you new date of birth .

so far I think earlier PAN was allotted to you as MINOR where in you father is your representative asseessee. And after getting majority your PAN should remain same there shoulbe no change of PAN number but only minor change are required in PAN card with your signature and you will be the asseessee with no representative asseesse. You have to only to file an correction application of PAN and you will get the DOB corrected and above details nothing else your PAN willl remain same.

As per my knowledge apply for the retified pan card by changing the DOB u will get it after 15 working days theb after give this new pan details to u bank they will surely accept.

no issue with bank or incometax. but when u r too lazy to remember your actual DOB, then what remedy you can provide in any compliance from either bank or incometax in case of any investigation? and mismatch would lead your money in bank to zeopardy.

This may cause future problem when you need any certificate in which your DOB is required, then you have to face problem. Hence, rectify in bank immediately.
