2 Houses - How we can take benefits in tax

If I have two houses in the name of myself and wife name , ( both r working )

both flats are used for self occupied

should I take benefits of interest 50%-50%

also, 2 flats ( assume 1 is let out )
how we will be take a benefits in tax ,
for both husband and wife
