Please clarify the issue regarding -
We are running Educational institutions. Whether we have to deduct TDS on our payment to trainers/firm ( Training given by the trainers to college professors/school teachers like math lab coaching etc.,) u/s 194 J?

Dear K. Sathia
If your Educational Institution is registered under any Law ( Co-oprative society of As a Trust) than will have to deduct TDS under section 194J on payment made to Trainers.
You should be obtain a TAN no. for deduction TDS and file TDS Returns.
Tds will be deducted u/s 194J because services provided by the trainers are skilled services and it demands specilalisation.
