Hello

What will be rate of TDS in case of increase in rent with retrospective effect from April. Invoice is raised on 1.01.09

PROVISION OF TDS ARE ATTRACTED AT THE TIME OF EARLIST OF THE FOLLOWING EVENT:-

1) AT THE TIME OF CREDIT

2) AT THE TIME OF PAYMENT

HENCE, THE RATE APPLICABLE AS ON THE DATE OF OCCURING OF EVENT WILL APPLY..

the education cess will not be levied and only basic rate i.e.15% for april-Sept is applicable & new rate 10 % from oct. will be applicable.
