i need a clarification regarding section 142(1),please provide me when notice under section 142(1) will be issued because in Belated return and Revised return,we will have relevance there.

142(1) notice is sent when return has not been filed by the assessee, and/or when the AO wants to have a look at the books of accounts (not more than 3 years prior) and if need be, statement of assets and liabilities as well.

FIRST TIME I LOG-IN FOR E-FILING. I SAW OUTSTANDING TAX DEMAND U/S 143(1), FOR A.Y. 08-09, 09-10, 10-11. I NEVER GOT ANY INTIMATION REGARDING IT. IN FORM 26AS NO ANY TDS REFLECT U/S 192 BUT I PAID TDS UNDER THIS SEC AS PER FORM 16. IN FACT IN MY RETURN THEIR IS REFUND IN THESE YEARS. ONE MORE THING FOR A.Y. 10-11 DEMAND DATE IS 30/03/2013, I.E. AFTER 1 YEAR FROM END OF A.Y. IN WHICH RETURN IS FILED. NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO?
