I filed income taxform 10 E and ITR online for AY 2018 -2019
l got a relief of Rs 887 by 10 E .
But in my return approved without considering this relief ,
what can I do for Correcting this
what may be the reason for it?
first thing is that the 10E should be submitted before processing of the return (ideally one should submit 10 E first and then Return should be submitted). Also , in return, one should fill the amount of the relief (computed in 10E) in the relevant colum.
please check whether you have filled that column in return.
Now you can file an online rectification request with above mentioned considerations and they will give you your due refund.
