Please tell me if the assessee can:
Take exemption for HRA u/s 10(13A) and also
claim deduction u/s 80GG for the Rent Paid.

No it is not possible. A person can either claim HRA or 80GG deduction. Generally if a person is get RFA then he cant claime HRA or 80GG deduction. If he recieves HRA then he cant claim 80GG deduction . If he neither getting HRA or RFA then he can claim 80GG deduction

No its cant happen but is the person is taking an accommodation at a concessional rate,then he is entitled to get 80GG

No it s not possible...An Assessee s eligible for any one of the benefit..
