Dear all,
The june exam is approaching and due to the election we got bit of time for more preparation also. I think every body is revising the subject.
It is the right time to create apattern of important question. There is a good repeated pattern for every exam, more than 40% questions are repeated and similar pattern.Scanners can help you bit. Some part are giving much importantce in May exam and some other repeated in the November.
The exam is just like a cricket mark and the target set by the ICAI is 300 or 150 or 200 or 400 marks and we are going to face the yorkers and bouncers in the exam . This yorker and bouncer i meant cleaver and good practical queations .
Firstly a good and sound revision
second is the pattern of the question and how the answers will be...please refer the suggested answers regarding the same.
In auditing the Role of Accounting standards are very much dominating and AAs also play a good Role and Practical case laws in Company audit. So prepare very well the AS and AAS and company audit and audit of other enterprises. If you have a good proviciency in these are then you can score 60% . then you just score 45 in law papers and 45 in Accounts the target is easy.
In Law the company law, Negotiable instrument, other miscellaneous act ...are very much important. If you have a good and sound proviciency in company law and negotiable instrument.... You can score the 60% plus.then you just score 45 in Audit papers and 45 in Accounts the target is easy.
If you got excemption in the above two papers you can carry the extra mark for group 2.
in tax papers salary , profit and gains from business &profession, capital gains , Asseement procedure, chapter VI A deduction and sound knowledge of VAT and TDS and gross total income problems, then also you can score 60%.then just score 45 in cost and FM and 45 in Info tech.
If you sound in problems then set the targetd papers in costing and FM and advanced accounts.
But we have to work hard and harder for the targetd scoring papers require good perfection in studies and better presentation in exam.
Be focuz on working capital management and capital budgeting these two are the main chapters for the exam and alsoCapital structure, never missed out these chapters. The theory will come from first and last chapter of FM and capital structure.
For Infotech the chapter software onwards very impotance, Please go the scanners they will give light on the repeated question, it includes the differnce between two option, one mark questions..... for 1 mark question just cover the scanner part and appendex part some one mark questions are set for the exam.
So target is ours , you should have a sound paln to success the exam.....
any way
All The Best

I am little disagree with you sir.
Noone can study 15 hour every day. I dont think we should measure our study in quantity of hours. No use of studying 15 hour per day and becoming ill after 1 week. a student should sleep 9-10 hour per day for productive and quality study.
Standard should be obtainable.
And 8 hours of quality sudy+ concentration of 3 month if student is going to appear for both group is more than enough for obtaining 60+.

The contention of above is a good and reasonable answer. But if you target 12 to 15 hours during the 3 month with quality studies were you can reach.Hours of study without concentration is an utter waste,There are many students they are working like these 12 to 15 hours perday thinking their aim to become CA "Where there is will there is a way" , if you willing to study for 12 to 15 hours you can found the ways to studiy, else no chance. Quality study means the dedication of mind and body to the studies with full perfections. We infact cannot focuz for more than 1 hours. If you are healthy there is no sickness at all. Brain is a such a wonderful tools.if studying 12 to 15 hours and becoming sick means many will be fall in illness,

Success= Aim+Effort+Positive mind frame.
IF these 3 elements are lacking , then , no one even god can help you to coming out ........So,
Each one have their own strategies and outlook, some neednot sit and study for too many hours .... they can grasp the things very quickly but some others may requires too many hours......
It is generic fact that we are not utilizing the power of brain to the maximum possible level.......
Whatever it may be.....the countdown for the exam had started.....think the ulimate goal to clear CA.... work hard according to our way....Hours of study cannot directly be indicated with productivity..... But think our ultimate goal and utlize in the best and systematic manner, the precious resource....Time.....
