C.A. and I.A.S are two completely different careers. How can you get confused between the two. People who are successful in any of these elite careers are treated with high level of respect. For any profession you need flair for it.
' What do you want to become and do throughout your remaining life' is more important?
C.A. as you must know is a career in finance field and you got to have interest in finance and laws specifically plus have good mathematical mind.
For I.A.S you need to have high level of intelligence, good academic record and tremendous determination to clear the exam.
You can also first do C.A and then I.A.S which will also boost your chance of getting selected in interview stage of UPSC exams. Many C.A.'s have cleared UPSC exam and have made good name in administrative field.
Don't just think from the angle of job. A good C.A. will get any job he wants. If he does not get one then that would mean that the boy deserves more only and not less. C.A. is a high profile field and requires hard work and dedication not just during the passing stage but also after clearing all the exams.
Many IAS leave their job because of reduced job satisfaction due to constant political interference and hypocrisy.
Don't just day dream. Take decision only when you can perfectly say that you can be or try to be the best in that particular field. Indecision for too long is not a good thing...............
