I beg to differ on this point alone. As I have experienced, you are one of those handful members here who take replying very seriously. I have always stressed on this too. Our words carry our personality, carry us. And you, Dear Sanjay Ji, carry yourself with immaculate poise, noteworthy expertise and memorable thoughts. Even here, you have raised some very basic yet important points in your reply as captioned above.

For all such replies, the replier should be thanked. As " It always feel good when ones efforts are appreciated."

To sum up, I quote another person who, like Sanjay Ji and others, takes replying with all seriousness -

" Clicking "Thanks" button in the wrong place, and Ignoring "Thanks" button to the deserved member, both should be avoided..." (Originality of Harini)

I remember when i new to CCI before 4-5 Month....I just post a file in thread and it is downloaded by more than 100times...and Sourav Sir commented and appreciation.... and told that "it is dewnloaded by more than 100 times and i wondering why isn't there any comment...?? Don't you expect..??"  I just told that i just believing in giving without any expectation....

And Sourav Sir replied, " You just got the exact meaning of Life..."

That incidence was best and me and from that i respect him & Consider as my elder brother.. and trying to know about him......

That's right we should take first step for getting anything in life...just have to try only.....

@ Sanket.. I really see the primary motive of this post as one to inform other members about the third ranking you got in the most thanked members list...

And even if you have written this post to know whether you deserve this third rank, then I dont feel anyone, even if he thinks so, would reply that you dont deserve this rank... You wil get many more comments that you deserve it...

My view is that 'NUMBER OFTHANKS' is no where near a criteria to judge the contribution made to this site as mentioned by some of the senior members.. many members keep thanking all replies to their posts (even I am one of them) and I can see some members reply to all such posts just to increase their 'THANKS'

So, I would like to say.. just keep doing the good work you doing on this site.. people will remember you more for your informative and useful posts rather than this kind of posts...
