The Accounting paper of CA Intermediate Group-1 by CA D. G. Sharma builds on and goes beyond the CA Foundation level basics. It introduces specific Accounting Standards, the process of their formulation, and ways to apply them in various transactions and cases. Further, the paper familiarizes students with the preparation of financial statements of multiple entities. Particular emphasis is laid on covering the various aspects related to company accounts. A section of it also deals with a special type of accounting which covers accounts from incomplete records and accounting for branches, including foreign ones.
