Virag Gupta is Partner at VAS Global and practices at Supreme Court of India. His cases on food safety have been based upon scientific research and have brought paradigm change in law. A former IRS Officer and Advisor with Ernst and Young, he has authored various Compendiums such on Telecom Laws, Mining Laws, and Cases on Special Economic Zones. His cases brought landmark changes in the arena of Information Technology and Cyber Laws. He was Member of National Task Force on Interlinking of Rivers constituted as per directions of the Supreme Court. Apart from being a columnist for several national newspapers and participant in TV debates, he has many literary books to his name.
