Greetings!
The ICAI has completed the sixth decade and the prestige increases at an unprecedented pace. Definitely, we feel proud of being associated with such a brilliant profession.
The ruling factors of this prestige are the Professionalism adopted by ICAI and the role of Government in entrusting more importance to CAs.
“CAs” are recognized for their Integrity, Independence, Excellence and Professionalism.
But for last five years, I have been observing that the “CA” has just become like a craze. Everyone after passing out 12+ wants to enter in to CA. No doubt, it is not wrong. But it gives a feel that whoever goes on top at extraordinary speed, may fall down even at a worst line.
The symbol of CA has become like golden egg. Everyone wants to be attached to it.
The events like leakage of papers, advertisement of ICAI election like of political election, reservation of 33% woman issue(khurshid suggestion), number of coaching institutes (business), increase of dummy article ships, increase in fees etc. may ruin the position of ICAI & CA Brand.
Let CA be a profession & not a fashion.
