What were my mistakes?

Hi friends,

I am from Jaipur, Rajasthan. I am writing this article because i make some mistakes and don't want others repeat the same.

Friends,

I was a good student in school time, always got first division and mostly first rank. I was a Hindi medium student. After leaving school I lost interest in study and went for earning. I did many private jobs at very low earnings (<4000). It spoiled my B.com result and somehow I managed becoming a B.com. with just 51%. Then I had two options-

1. Go for a private job as my most friends did and

2. Continue study like my neighbours.

I chose both. When I was in last year, one of my friend suggested me to join CA. Then others guided me to complete, first B.com and then take direct admission to inter. But as i gave exam, the rules were changed and cpt was must now. Then i joined cpt and cleared in 2nd attempt. Now it was time for articleship, I joined a  CA  who was far from my home. It took about 8 hours inclusive of 1 and  a half hour of travelling by bus. I couldn't managed my study and when exam was about six months away, I was afraid. This  time my elder cousin, who was in CA final, suggested me to join ipcc with english medium. i converted from pcc to ipcc. Now the exams were 9 months away. I preferred again self study with modules only.

After two months, when i finished only 20% of my studies, i went for job again for 2 months. Now, when only 5 months were left, my itt began. It took about 2 and a half months of time and spoiled my study schedule because travelling time was 3 hours and 3 hours for itt training.

After finishing itt, my orientation classes began. Now just two months left and half  of the course remaining without revision. The result was as expected. I failed terribly with just 32%. Now I started again and did practice of practical questions. I was hopeless after giving exams. My poor English and poor study methods created a big problem at exam. This time again, I ended with just 37%. But this time the conditions were different. After giving exams I searched internet and found the medicine "caclubindia". I got motivated and analyzed my mistakes. I was ready with a positive strategy when the result came negative second time. I was a highly motivated person with more fighting spirit. While other people discouraged me, my mother, sister and “caclubindia” friends motivated me. Finally I gave my third attempt of ipcc with a lot confidence. This time I won the battle. I cleared both groups of Ipcc in November 2011 attempt. My mother was weeping with smile on face. This win was most important for me and her because I took challenge of medium change and self study. Now I am looking forward for final battle and aiming for merit. Is it Impossible? My heart says, “NO”

Moral of the story

1. Finally, what your heart says, do that.

2. You can learn some things which I learned lately, mostly cpt pass outs.

3. Don't waste time, start study from very beginning.

4. Be confident and positive.

5. You should have only one aim- CA and only CA.

Forgive me if I made spelling mistakes because I am still improving my English with help of internet and books.
