Some Thing to know before you guys dive into the toughest phase of Chartered Accountancy!

(This text might seem boring and odd-sized but as a student of CA, I'm sure you can take it![;)])

Well. What is tough in this phase is not the course by itself, its 'YOU' - you were a school goer till last few months, but a student of professional course today!

Its adaptability that matters!

Keep aside the exams. There are lots more to know about!

a. CA-IPCC requires you to possess a working knowledge on the total syllabus!

b. You should elevate yourself to the acquire knowledge state than and not be stuck with the HOW-MANY-MARKS-DO-I-GET state!

c. College goers? Adapt your timings well. You can do it with ease! You can do both the groups!

d. Doing your Degree in Correspondence? You need to focus brother! It isn't easy staying home with books. It's gonna take time to adapt! Better make yourself a time table [it works ;) I'm a living example.. :P]

Yes. That's all are the things you need to know!

And, about the exams! [The most awaited part I guess.. :)]

First remove the thought of only one group, Go for Both groups.

One Month (July/Jan) is at hand! Enjoy your life in the available time.

Then prepare a further Time table for 600 - 700 hours of devoted studies to be completed by 31st January/July.

(You'll have some 150 days, Remove 10 days for you self (festivals etc.) Left is 140 Days X 5 Hrs p/day = 700).

Later February/August one round of revision from Past 10 attempt papers.

March/September Repeat same thing, but make concise notes of the materials you use this time!

Ahem. It's April/Oct.

FIRST WEEK

Time for a Fast Track Revision

SECOND & THIRD WEEK

Take up strict 3 hour model tests!

Later 21st April/Oct onwards till exam day plan your time table for final revision & shortfalls you have realized in your strategies and how to creep out of it!

And I'm sure you will be all done for the month of MAY/NOVEMBER if you STRICTLY go by this!

Believe in yourself!

Impossible is nothing :)
