Water Supply & Infrastructure

  • Rs 20,370 crores for six JJM projects in 5,846 villages.
  • Rs 5,180 crores for Amrut 2.0 projects in 185 urban settlements over two years.
  • Rs 187 crores for small drinking water projects.
  • Service reservoir and pipeline construction in Ajmer.
  • 20 handpumps and 10 tube wells in each of 100 assembly constituencies.
Rajasthan State Budget - July 2024 Highlights

Renewable Energy generation target raised to 33,600 MW.

Transportation

  • RSRTC to receive 500 buses in two years and 800 service buses, including 300 electric buses.
  • Lok Parivahan Sewa to improve rural connectivity.
  • 208,000 homes to receive domestic electricity connections in two years.
  • New road projects totalling Rs 60,000 crore.
  • Rs 9,000 crore for road repairs, railway bridges, underpasses, and beautification projects.

Industry & Export Promotion

  • New industrial, MSME and export promotion policy.
  • Nine greenfield expressways (2,750 km) with DPR at Rs 30 crore.
  • Defence manufacturing zone establishment.
  • 'One district one product' policy.
 

Urban Development

  • Rs 25 crores allocated for bus shelters and charging stations.
  • 50 clusters for handicrafts and MSMEs.
  • Libraries and Wi-Fi in urban areas amounting to Rs 150 crore.
  • Fire brigades for every municipal body at Rs 65 crore.
  • Rajasthan Tourism Board formation.
  • Rajasthan Heritage Development Corporation to be established.
  • Rs 650 crore allocated for solid waste processing plants and waste management centers.
  • Mechanized and automated waste transfer stations.
  • Recruitment of 1,650 roadways employees.
 

Heritage & Tourism

  • Rs 200 crore for destination development.
  • Rs 30 crore for Jaisalmer Fossil Park.
  • Rs 100 crore for Khatu Shyamji development.
  • Rs 100 crore for Jaipur Walled City Heritage Development Plan.
  • Ropeways at various locations with DPR preparation.

Investment & Employment

  • Amrit Global Technology Center in Jaipur at Rs 200 crore.
  • 4 lakh recruitments over the next 5 years.
  • 1 lakh recruitments in the current financial year.
  • Business programs in schools and colleges.

Social Welfare & Development

  • Rs 4000 crore for Haryalo Rajasthan Mission.
  • Yuva Policy 2024 and Atal Entrepreneurship Programme with loans up to Rs 10 crore for start-ups.
  • Rs 100 crore annually for "One District One Product" initiative.
  • 1,500 new positions for doctors and 4,000 for nursing staff.
  • Rs 25 crore for loans to EWS category buyers.
  • Loans at concessional rates for SC-ST employees with a provision of Rs 100 crore.
  • Sainik Schools for girls at the divisional level.
  • Additional Rs 25,000 grant for PM Housing Scheme beneficiaries.
  • Sports life insurance scheme for medal-winning athletes with a cover of Rs 25 lakh.
  • District-level hostels for working women with Rs 35 crore.
  • 15 lakh women to be made Lakhpati Didis.

Children & Women

  • Milk is provided three days a week to 36 lakh children in Anganwadi centres.
  • Five new Anganwadi centres in each assembly constituency.
  • Pension for freedom fighters increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 55,000.
  • Reward of Rs 10,000 for lifesavers in accidents.

This budget of Rajasthan aims to address multiple sectors, including infrastructure, renewable energy, transportation, industrial growth, social welfare, urban development, and heritage conservation, as per my opinion it is one of the amazing budgets
