The results of CA Final November 2019 exams was declared on the 16th of January 2020, Thursday. The pass percentage of CA Final Old for Nov 19 was 10.19% and the pass percentage for CA Final New for Nov 19 was 15.12%. The pass percentage is in double digits for both old as well new scheme for CA Final November 19. Consequent to the declaration of CA Final November 19 result as mentioned above, 5125 candidates qualified as Chartered Accountants.

Trend analysis of Pass Percentage of CA Final Nov 2019 result:

As per the trend analysis, the pass percentage of Old Scheme has increased when compared to the pass percentage of CA Final May 19. Whereas the pass percentage of CA Final New Scheme for Nov 19  has dropped down. The Pass percentage of CA Final Nov 19(old scheme) has jumped up by around 2.3%. This year the pass percentage is 10.19%. Whereas last year the pass percentage was 7.63%. On the other hand, if we talk about pass percentage of CA final Nov 19(New Course), the pass percentage has gone down. In last attempt that is in May, it was 20.85 and this attempt it is 15.12%, The pass percentage has almost dropped down by 5%

Trend Analysis of Pass Percentage of CA Final result May/June 2019(Old Course)

ICAI declared the result of CA Final May/June 2019 on the 13th of August, 2019 at 5:00 PM. Like the last attempt, in this attempt also the pass percentage of CA Final(Old Course) was less than CA Final(New Course)

The Pass percentage of CA Final May/June 2019 attempt witnessed a downward trend as compared to the pass percentage of CA Final November 2018 attempt. There has been a decrease of 12.04% in the number of students passed who only appeared for Group 1. A total of 18.40% cleared in this category. The pass percentage of the same category in the last attempt was 30.44%

The pass percentage of students who only appeared for group 2 was more or less the same. A total of 23.72% passed Group 2. The pass percentage of students in this category was 23.41% in the last attempt.

The Pass percentage of students who appeared for both the groups was 7.63%. There is a decrease in the pass percentage by 7.4% as compared to the last attempt.

Trend Analysis of Pass Percentage of CA Final result May/June 2019 (New Course)

Pass percentage of CA Final May/June 2019(New Course) attempt saw an upward trend as compared to the pass percentage of CA Final November 2018 attempt. There has been an increase of 2.57% in the number of students passed who only appeared for Group 1. A total of 16.87% cleared in this category. The pass percentage of the same category in the last attempt was 14.30%

However, the pass percentage of students who only appeared for group 2 dropped by 9.48%. A total of 17.55% passed Group 2. The pass percentage of students in this category was 27.03% in the last attempt.

The Pass percentage of students who appeared for both the groups was 20.85%. There is an increase in pass percentage by 4.36% as compared to the last attempt. In the last attempt, a total of 16.49% cleared in this category.

This was the first time that ICAI had introduced objective type questions in the exams. While the pass percentage of CA Final(New Course) has increased. The pass percentage of CA Final(Old Course) has dropped. Thus it would tough to say how the introduction of objective type questions has affected the results.

Trend analysis of Pass Percentage of CA Final result Nov 2018 (New Course)

Pass percentage of CA Final result November 2018 (New Course) has also seen a considerable increase as compared to the pass percentage of CA Final May 2018. There has been a whopping increase of 2.94% in the number of students passed who appeared only Group 1 in CA Finals New Syllabus Nov 2018 resulting in a total 14.30% students have passed in this category.

For students who had appeared in the Group 2 alone, there is huge increase in the number of students passed with, 27.03% students have passed in CA Final Nov 2018 attempt as compared to 7.95% in the last attempt of CA Final May 2018.

And for the students who appeared in both groups of CA Final Nov 2018, out of the 4075 students appeared, 670 students have become Chartered Accountants by passing in both the groups with the number of students passed is 16.44% as compared to 9.83% students passed in CA Final May 2018 attempt.

The results of CA Final May 2018 was announced on 20th July 2018. It was expected to be announced at 6:00 pm but were declared before time, during the afternoon itself.

Trend analysis of CA Final Pass Percentage May 2018- Old Course

The CA final pass percentage has been lower than that of the last attempt which is CA Final November 2017 exams.

It was the first time that two types of CA Final results were announced- CA Final May 2018 (Old Course) and CA Final May 2018 (New Course).

The CA Final percentage of individual groups has been better for CA Final May 2018 (Old Course) as compared to the results of the CA Final May 2018 (New Course). And for both groups it has been vice versa, CA Final New Course has shown better results.

Trend analysis of CA Final Pass Percentage - November 2017

The CA Final November 2017 pass percentage was better than CA Final pass percentage of May 2017. While in individual groups the CA final pass percentage of November 2017 was better than that of the previous attempt i.e. May 2017; in the both groups CA Final May 2017 result was slightly better by 0.22%.
